Vanessa is an advanced practice registered nurse practitioner interested in holism and the harmonizing of physical, mental, and spiritual health in order to improve overall quality of life. She holds a Master of Science in Health Education from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Vanderbilt University. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. Vanessa is working to become certified in functional medicine.
Espritous has been created in order to share information on topics in integrative and functional medicine, the healing power of creativity and the expressive arts, and the power of our thoughts. This site also intends to offer an exploration of complementary healing modalities not traditionally offered by the conventional medical paradigm.
